Laura Jantunen and Ilmari Paananen are working on a four-year research project about video as a choreographical practice and the video image’s possibility to evoke kinesthetic empathy in spectators. In the project, choreography is viewed as organization of non-bodily particles in the digital environment and in physical space.

During the early stages of the project, the artists have explored kinesthetics research in philosophy, neuroscience, film, and dance.
